Planning App for Projects and Tasks – Desktop App

Overview

The goal of this project was to design a planning app for projects and tasks for a software company.

Problem

Similar apps on the market don’t offer all the required integrations for the customers software. In addition, most of them are also too bloated. The company wants to build a planning app for very specific tasks and nothing more.

Solution

Through a comprehensive workshop with the development and infrastructure team of this company, we could manage to nail down all the necessities and requirements for this project. I designed a minimalistic and expandable platform with nice visuals, which fit the corporate identity.

Users

This application will be used by all employees of the company. Everyone has experience with similar apps like Microsoft Teams.

Key Features

Employees can be assigned to different groups. Tasks, projects and the calendar are shared inside those groups. Different permissions and capabilities can be given and changed by the executives. The app is integrated with other internal software.

I learned about serif and sans serif typefaces,
about varying the amount of space between
different letter combinations, about what makes
great typography great. It was beautiful.
